We all want that flawless complexion. But for any woman who has any sort of facial scarring, it can seem to be downright impossible to have that gorgeous skin that we see plastered every where. Surgical removal is an option, but it is expensive and not guaranteed to be effective. You’ve tried every scar cream out there on the market and there is little to no difference in the appearance of your scars. So what can you do?
Try Olive Oil
There may not be anything better than olive oil when it comes to natural healing for our skin. If you massage olive oil into your acne-scarred skin every day, you will notice within a week or two that your skin is definitely softer and that the appearance of your acne scars is greatly reduced. Not only that, but olive oil naturally moisturizes your skin and it contains anti-bacterial properties – so it is working to keep your face clean!
Tomatoes are good for us in so many ways, including acne scars. If you apply tomatoes or tomato juice to your skin, you will notice your skin improving in texture. It will become smoother, and as an added bonus tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, meaning that the juice will help rejuvenate your damaged skin. All you need is a slice or two of tomato, place them on top of your scars, and you’re set.
Honey is one of the best foods for our skin has it has antibacterial and antifungal properties, it’s cleansing and it’s nourishing for our skin. All you need to do is take some honey, massage it into the affected skin, and you will notice that your scars will become less noticeable over time. Honey is a natural skin lightening product, so it will help detract attention from your acne scars to more desirable areas of your face.
Try Lavender Oil
Not only does it smell nice, but it can also help heal your acne scars. To use lavender, simply apply it to your acne scars in a gentle, massaging circular motion. You can leave the oil on your skin, but do wipe off any excess. Lavender has regenerative properties, which helps make your skin look fresher, cleaner, and younger.
Try Aloe Vera
You can use either aloe vera gel or juice to treat your acne scars. You may notice that aloe is in a lot of expensive skin care products, but why use those when you can use the gel or juice, which is just as effective and only a fraction of the cost? Aloe vera is not only refreshing for the skin, but it helps heal skin and it will keep it hydrated and smooth.
Try your own Facial Mask
To make your own acne scar facial mask, you only need to combine one table spoon of sour cream to one tablespoon of oatmeal and yogurt. Add in a few drops of lemon juice, and mix them together. Apply the mask to your face and leave it there for approximately 10 minutes. Rinse it off and the pat your face dry.
